Linstroth named to Building Design and Construction's 40 Under 40.
(SAVANNAH, GA) Tommy Linstroth of Savannah-based
sustainability consulting firm Trident Sustainability Group has
been named to Building Design and Construction's 40 Under 40. The annual
list identifies those individuals from across the country who will lead
our nation's building design, construction and development for years
to come. Linstroth previously has been named to the Savannah Business
Journal's 40 under 40 (2007) and the Georgia Trend 40 under 40 (2008).

Linstroth is the Principal of Trident Sustainability Group, a sustainability
and green building consulting firm, and former Director of Sustainability
for Melaver, Inc. He is a regular speaker on sustainable development
throughout the country. He is the co-author of "Local Action: A New
Paradigm in Climate Change Policy," an upbeat and accessible guide
for citizens, communities, and local governments interested in reducing
greenhouse gas emissions, and a contributing author of The Green Building
Bottom Line.
Linstroth was founder and past-chairman of the U.S. Green Building Council,
Savannah Chapter and now the Georgia Chapter, (USGBC). He serves on
the Board of Directors for both the Georgia Conservation Voters, a non-profit
organization dedicated to advocating and lobbying for environmental
issues at the state level, and the Live Oak Public Libraries. Linstroth
also serves on the advisory board for the Creative Coast Initiative
and the Mayors Healthy Savannah Initiative. He is an active participant
and graduate of Leadership Savannah and the Institute for Georgia Environmental
Leadership (IGEL). Linstroth also serves on the Chatham Environmental
Forum, working to implement county planning on issues related to energy,
transportation and water quality.
