Savannah Architecture and Design Firm, Felder and Associates, Welcomes Daniel Reynolds as New Project Associate

(SAVANNAH, GA) Felder & Associates is pleased to announce that Daniel Reynolds has joined the Savannah architecture and design firm as a project associate. Reynolds will assist in the production of construction documents, 3D models and other projects to help expedite the design process for clients of the firm.

“Daniel’s technical strengths and creative abilities are a good complement to our team’s strategic goals,” said Brian Felder, the firm’s managing principal. “We’re very pleased to welcome him to the organization.”

Felder & Associates has a staff of six full-time employees with one project associate on staff at any given time.

Reynolds was previously employed as a project associate at Studio S2, LLC in Annapolis, Md. He is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a LEED Green Associate with the U.S. Green Building Council.

“I enjoy being part of the Felder and Associates team because I can contribute my unique sense of design and spatial understanding to meaningful work in a collaborative setting,” Reynolds said. “Architecture appeals to my innate sense of and love of creative design. As such, it is a powerful and unique practice.”

Reynolds continued, “The legacy of one’s work in architecture shapes the lives and defines the experiences of others. I enjoy knowing that my efforts in this field may outlast me while enriching our daily existence.”

A native of Annapolis, Md., Reynolds earned a master’s degree in architecture from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, where he also earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in architecture and was a member of the Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society, Gamma Eta Chapter. He previously obtained an associate’s degree in applied science in architecture from Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Md., and studied at the Pratt Institute in New York.

His work has been recognized with the Thesis Merit Award, AIA Savannah (2016); the Student Merit Award, AIA Chesapeake Bay Region (2012); Student Citation Award, AIA Chesapeake Bay Region (2012), Prize For Excellence – Community College Architecture Project Award, AIA Maryland (2012, 2011); and Student Merit Award, AIA Chesapeake Bay Region (2011).

In his leisure time, Reynolds enjoys running, drawing, painting, reading and travel.
