USI Insurance Services Acquires Wells Fargo Insurance

By | Local NewsWIRE | No Comments

(SAVANNAH, GA) Wells Fargo Insurance (WFI) is now USI Insurance Services, LLC. Forty WFI offices nationwide were acquired by USI Insurance including the local Savannah, Georgia office and all of its employees. The Savannah USI Insurance office hosted an Open House this week to celebrate the acquisition.

“I appreciated the chance to meet associates in leadership with USI,” said Douglas Reed, Director of Human Resources for the Housing Authority of Savannah. “In the conversations last evening, it is evident that USI possesses the talent, tools, and experience to not only be a market leader in Savannah, but to serve our needs in an exceptional manner.”

This acquisition further strengthens USI’s presence as one of the leading middle market insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the country, and complements the company’s full suite of property and casualty insurance, employee benefits, personal lines insurance, retirement and specialty offerings.

Property and casualty insurance is insurance on homes, cars and businesses. “Business owners spend a tremendous amount of time growing their business and do not have a large internal staff to handle property and casualty insurance and employee benefits. They rely on consultants and brokers to help advise and guide them,” said Market President Paige Gantt.

USI is distinctly set up to serve business owner’s needs. USI has built a leading national platform with over 140 offices to serve businesses and individuals in every state. They have developed a unique and proprietary knowledge and resource base that delivers clients something different, a broader and deeper set of innovative solutions that drive bottom line results to help clients grow.

USI helps clients grow by combining its client-centric culture at the local level with leading edge technical resources on the national level. USI’s unique approach integrates robust analytics, deep expertise, hands-on services and ongoing, diligent follow-through to deliver strategic insurance solutions for your business.

“Our local team is very excited about this transition to a pure insurance focused environment to service our clients and grow our client base,” said Gantt. “We are tapping into a brilliant resource team who will bring our clients even more innovative risk mitigation solutions.”

ABOUT USI INSURANCE SERVICES
USI is the 3rd largest privately held insurance broker, the 4th largest privately held commercial lines broker in the United States, and the 14th largest insurance brokerage firm in the world.
