(SAVANNAH, GA) Nearly 160,000 people in Coastal Georgia struggle with food insecurity and many families turn to food pantries for additional assistance, especially during the holidays. However, healthy options are not always available for those in need. All too often, they must rely on inexpensive, unhealthy foods because that’s all that’s available.

(SAVANNAH, GA) Savannah’s Police Memorial Trail will officially reopen on Monday, November 29. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for 11:30 a.m. at the trailhead on the corner of Kerry St. and Dixie Ave., where City and County officials will gather with the Tide to Town board and members of the community to celebrate the conclusion of the five-year renovation effort.

(SAVANNAH, GA) For the 9th year, locally owned Enmarket continued its partnership with the Georgia – South Carolina Region of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light The Night® campaign. Enmarket launched its company-wide initiative in September across Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina by encouraging its customers to donate at check-out to benefit LLS. The 2021 campaign in September raised over $125,000 to help in the fight against blood cancers. Brett Giesick, President of Enmarket, and Matt Clements, Vice President of Marketing, presented local LLS staff with a check on October 27.
