(AUGUSTA, GA) Augusta’s Housing & Community Development Department will be reporting this week to the Augusta-Richmond County Commission on highlights of its Laney Walker/Bethlehem Revitalization Project, including the construction of 14 new homes in its flagship Heritage Pine development, sales of $1.2 million in homes to date, five additional home sales in Holley Street Common by Antioch Development Corporation, and pending mutli-use, multi-family developments at both Foundry Place (opposite GHSU) and Twiggs Circle.

(AUGUSTA, GA) The Augusta Trade, Exhibit and Event (TEE) Center is bringing $7.2 million to Augusta in estimated direct visitor spending for the first 12 groups that have signed contracts for when the TEE Center opens January 1, 2013. "Ten of the groups would not have been able to meet in the city without the addition of the flat-floor column-free space that is currently under construction attached to the city’s existing conference center" noted the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
