(AUGUSTA, GA) The Greater Augusta Arts Council of Augusta GA has received a coveted Community Foundation of the CSRA grant. The grant will be used to present “14 Stations,” the work of internationally renowned photographer, David Michalek. This presentation at Sacred Heart Cultural Center in June, will be the culmination of a week-long exploration of the impact of art on social change – specifically showcasing the work of local social service agencies who focus on the transition out of homelessness. From January to June the Arts council will be working with numerous agency partners to introduce art into the lives of transitioning families and individuals.
