(AUGUSTA, GA) Scientists at Georgia Health Sciences University (GHSU), located in downtown Augusta’s Master Plan Area, are isolating treatment for traumatic damage to the eye that results in blindness. They are finding a way to protect the optic nerve when the eye takes a blow on the battlefield or in a car wreck.
