Bernard Williams Receives Commendation from Major Insurance Carrier
(SAVANNAH, GA) Long-time Savannah independent insurance agency, Bernard Williams & Company, last month received a plaque and letter of commendation from the Utica National Insurance Group headquartered in Utica, N.Y. The plaque, presented to BW’s president Dick Williams by Utica’s Territorial Marketing Manager, Josh Gurley, commemorates a successful 25-year relationship in mutually serving clients of the agency.
“We were not expecting this honor,” said Alan Williams, senior vice president of BW. “Utica is a good, solid property and casualty insurance carrier. They’re very prominent in the Northeast. They’re been around for quite a while and they’re a financially stable and well respected company.”
The letter presented with the plaque was from Utica’s chairman and CEO, J. Douglas Robinson. “. . . it is with great pleasure that I congratulate you on 25 years of Bernard Williams & Company representing the companies of the Utica National Insurance Group,” said Robinson in his letter dated July 15. “. . .we understand that passing a milestone like this together takes a great commitment to our shared business and service to our mutual customers . . . we look forward to many more years of successful business together.”
Utica National Insurance Group was founded in 1914 and is celebrating their 100th anniversary this year.
