SCORE’S ANNUAL “BIZPITCH SAVANNAH™” TAKING PLACE ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 16

PET ADOPTIONS GRANTS FOR THE DOWN SYNDROME COMMUNITY

(SAVANNAH, GA) Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society is promoting a program that helps pay for pet adoptions for members of the Down syndrome community. PetScreening for Down syndrome (PS4Ds) is a philanthropic grant program that offers financial assistance to individuals with Down syndrome who want to adopt a rescue pet for companionship. Each recipient is granted $750 – $1,000 to be used for pet expenses including adoption fees, veterinary care, preventative health products, monthly food delivery and more.

The third site is at 40th and Waters and the upcoming date is December 2. The two other locations are at Curtis V. Cooper Family Health and the Moses Jackson Center, with these upcoming dates: November 18 and December 16. State Representative Carl Gillard has announced the nonprofit will be holding three different dinners at the Enmarket Arena in Savannah.
