STC FOUNDATION CELEBRATES 2020 TRIBUTE TO COMMUNITY STARS
(SAVANNAH, GA) Savannah Technical College Foundation celebrated 21 community stars virtually for its Tribute to Community STARs event on October 23. Among this year’s honorees was Paula Kreissler, Executive Director, Healthy Savannah, sponsored by Enmarket. The 14th annual event has, over the years, recognized 300 people for their service and dedication in the community or at work.
LOWCOUNTRY DOWN SYNDROME SOCIETY
(SAVANNAH, GA) For the October meeting, the Low Country Down Syndrome Society hosted speaker Jarelle Dickey, the Savannah Site Leader for Soto ALG. The organization was founded in 2007 by Allan Soto as a family business to improve the lives of adults with special needs. ENMARKET BRIDGE RUN
(SAVANNAH, GA) The Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run is going virtual. The in-person event, which was scheduled for December 5, 2020, will now instead be held in a virtual format. Participants can run from anywhere. Those who sign up will receive a medal, bib, and official race shirt.

FUNDRAISER FOR SANDFLY FIRE
(SAVANNAH, GA) A fundraiser is being held on November 7th from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Montgomery Athletic Association, 10155 Ferguson Ave 31406. Proceeds will benefit nine of the businesses destroyed in the Sandfly Five Oaks shopping center fire in September.

fountains in the schools. Each student was issued a refillable water bottle donated by
community partners. Healthy Savannah and Enmarket delivered 200 bottles to A.B. Williams Elementary School Wednesday morning. Enmarket and Business Community Provided an overall of 51K Translucent Water Bottles to Returning Students in Effingham and Chatham Counties
