Elizabeth Poole Selected for Public Relations Internship with Carriage Trade Public Relations and Cecilia Russo Marketing
(SAVANNAH, GA) Carriage Trade Public Relations, Inc. and Cecilia Russo Marketing, LLC. are pleased to announce that Elizabeth Poole has been selected as an intern for the summer of 2017.
Poole’s responsibilities will include media relations, writing press releases and award announcements, researching, search engine optimization, keywords, social media management, photography, videography and community relations.
A Savannah native, Poole recently graduated from the University of Georgia achieving a degree in public relations from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications. She also earned a minor in fashion merchandising and a certificate in new media. She plans to return to Athens in the fall to receive a Master of Arts in public relations and advertising.
“I think this internship will be unlike any other,” said Poole. “Doing reputation management for clients that I’ve known and heard about since I was a child is so rewarding, and I’m excited to learn from the best public relations professionals in Savannah.”
In her past, Poole has been an intern with Felicities PR of London and Liz Lapidus PR located in Atlanta. An active member on campus, she served on the event planning committee for the Drewry chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America and was the 2016 Host and Decor chair for the largest student-run networking event on campus, AdPR Connection.
In her spare time, Poole enjoys giving back to the community by visiting homeless animals at the local shelter. She is also an avid beach goer and loves to spend time in the sun with her family and friends. Poole hopes to one day work for a public relations company that shares her passion for animals in need.
