(SAVANNAH, GA) Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society (LDSS) is happy to announce Joe Marchese will serve his second year as President of the LDSS. Marchese is a founding member of LDSS has been a member of the board since it’s inception in 2006.
Marchese is the President and Owner of Marchese Construction and the Director of Sustainable Initiatives. As an Accredited Professional in the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Program, Marchese has over seventeen years of experience in the construction industry.
Marchese replaced Candy Bogardus as President of the LDSS and its Board of Directors. Bogardus will continue to serve LDSS as Immediate Past President.
The 2015 Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society Officers consist of: Allyson Harvin, Vice President; Brian Hussey, Treasurer; Traci Shreck, Secretary.
LDSS also welcomes Harris Martin, newly elected Board of Director Member, and Attorney with Bouhan Falligant LLP. The 2015 LDSS Board of Directors consist of: John Bogardus, Jamie Deen, Wendy Fears, Allyson Harvin, Brian Hussey, Harris Martin, Joe Marchese, Kristin Nyce, Kevin Sheehan, Traci Shreck and Dr. Ben Spitalnick.
