Barbara Treadwell will be the guest speaker for the February 12th installment of the Renaissance Lecture Series, hosted by Magnolia Manor on the Coast.   The topic of the lecture is "Money is not Math and Math is not Money."

Prior to her twenty-year career in the financial arena, Barbara Treadwell worked for fifteen years in psychological services, counseling terminally ill patients and their families in Mobile, Alabama.  Barbara saw first hand what can happen to families who have not had sound financial advice, and it led her to a second career as a financial services professional. She is convinced that the only viable path to wealth, happiness and success is sound financial engineering.

Since 1980, Barbara has lived and worked in New York City helping people create, distribute and conserve wealth. She is a leading marketer of financial products, a frequent industry speaker and is published on topics ranging from estate analysis to business succession strategies.  In the new millennium, Barbara purchased a home and opened a satellite office in the historic district of Savannah. She is an active member of Savannah Rotary East and Leadership Savannah. Her New York-Savannah staff is on the leading edge of technology and can service clients easily from both the North and South offices.
