| SAVANNAH VOICE FESTIVAL BRINGS LIVE MUSIC TO HOPE HAVEN
(SAVANNAH, GA) Three Savannah VOICE Festival artists — Chad Sonka, Michael Ching and Lavonya Johnson — brought the gift of live music to the members of Hope Haven, a social club for people in the early to mid-stages of dementia. Hope Haven provides joyful community for them, respite for caregivers and a place for volunteers to love and serve. Studies show that live music sparks memory and connection for those living with dementia, and that familiar songs reduce anxiety and bring comfort. https://savannahrespite.com/detailed-latest-news#b6c93d40-87d7-468c-9bb8-7a0e86e00c1c |

(MEDIAPOST.COM) COVID cases go up nationwide every summer, but during the first year of Trump 2.0 and RFK Jr., public service health campaigns cautioning the public about that fact seem to be an endangered species. I found one in Savannah, Georgia, where an “Avoid the COVID Crasher” campaign has been co-launched by Healthy Savannah – a nonprofit partnership of more than 200 businesses, schools, healthcare and government organizations, and others — and the YMCA of Coastal Georgia.
