Annie Rockwell was named one of the Top Ten Working Women of the Year at the AWWIN, Inc. Top Ten Working Women of the Year Awards Gala, presented by Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty.

A very successful Realtor, Rockwell was one of the top 5 producers of 2007 with Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty. Rockwell, who is licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina, is a continuing member of the Distinguished Sales Society of the Savannah Board of Realtors. She was the Agent Administrator when Celia W. Dunn Realty made the transition to Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty.

“For me, one of the critical skills in real estate is listening to your clients carefully as they describe their needs,” Rockwell said. “That makes it possible for me to make their real estate dreams happen. I think it is important to give back to the community because dreams do come true if we all help each other.”

A committed community leader for almost 20 years in Savannah, Rockwell has served as a board member for many organizations. She is an organizer and a cheerleader in her volunteer leadership roles, rallying everyone behind the cause. She is always positive and encouraging, gifted at peer counseling and support and able to quietly figure out who most needs her support.

Rockwell served as a board member for Union Mission and on the committee working on the Starfish Gala, which raises money for Union Mission. Rockwell also volunteered as a board member for Court Appointed Special Advocates.

Rockwell was a board member for Junior League as well as Historic Savannah Foundation and the Christ Church/HSF Spring Tour of Homes. She co-chaired the Historic Savannah Gala fundraiser and chaired the Night at the Lucas. She served on the committees for the Historic Savannah Foundation Gala and the Historic Savannah Foundation Revolving Fund. She also served on the board of Savannah Theatre and is also a member of Telfair Academy, St John Episcopal Church and Humane Society.
