The visit follows from last week’s award from the American Planning Association to LWB as one of the nation’s outstanding redevelopment stories.

Jam along with JAMP, the JB Academy of Musik Pupils, and groove to the electronic beats by Sure Eel. (AUGUSTA, GA) Heritage Pine, Augusta’s flagship development for the Laney Walker/Bethlehem revitalization, has a new pocket park, and the pocket park has a new addition: a granite bench donated by Woodmen of the World’s Central Georgia office. The bench, made by Paul Lowe Monuments, was accepted by Mayor Pro Tem Corey Johnson, Administrator Fred Russell, and Augusta Housing and Community Development Director Chester Wheeler at a ceremony held in the park on Friday, April 19. (AUGUSTA, GA) The next meeting of Live Augusta…Be a Downtowner, a new organization recently formed to promote downtown living, civic involvement and neighborhood social interaction will take place on April 30th at 4 pm in the offices of the Downtown Development Authority.
