PARK PLACE OUTREACH RECEIVES $1,000 GRANT FROM WELLS FARGO
(SAVANNAH, GA) Park Place Outreach Youth Emergency Shelter is the recipient of a $1,000 grant from Wells Fargo from their Day of Giving. The grant will cover program expenses and operational costs to keep children safe. This is the only shelter in Savannah and Chatham County to help youth between the ages of 11 to 17 that are homeless, abused, or runaways. (SAVANNAH, GA) St. Thomas Episcopal Church will host a children’s carnival and silent auction on Wednesday, October 26 at 5:30 p.m. to benefit the family of church member, Jefferson Davis, who passed away during Hurricane Matthew. All food, drink and activities are free of charge, but any donations and the proceeds from the silent auction will go directly to the Davis family.
