(Savannah, GA)  Chef Matt Cohen is proud to announce that The New South Café is relocating to accommodate a large restaurant expansion.  Chef Matt’s New South Café at the Mighty Air Force Museum, formerly The New South Café on Skidaway Road, is now located just minutes from downtown Savannah in Pooler.

The restaurant’s growing popularity among locals and tourists alike has inspired Chef Matt to relocate to a more spacious and accommodating place in order to provide the upscale cuisine and large scale catering services for which The New South Café has become known.

Chef Matt is ready to introduce the new location to all of his loyal customers and to West Savannah.  "We are so grateful for the tremendous enthusiasm we have received from the community," he says.  "We outgrew our Skidaway Road kitchen and dining room.  This is an amazing opportunity and one that will facilitate our highly anticipated and continued growth."

With doubled seating capacity, and a spacious, state-of-the-art kitchen, Chef Matt’s New South Café at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum is better equipped to handle the volume that his restaurant and catering services are now demanding.

Named In-house caterer of the Mighty Eighth in 2008, Chef Matt is able to manage the jobs emerging from that long term contract more effectively at the Pooler location while also servicing the types of high volume catering jobs being solicited of The New South Café and The Coastal Catering Alliance (the catering co-op co-founded by Chef Matt last year).
