Savannah Graphic Recorder Brittany Curry Receives Alumni Achievement Award from Georgia College & State University

SAVANNAH, GA — November 11, 2025 — Georgia College & State University has recognized Savannah-based graphic recorder and facilitator Brittany Curry with the 2026 Alumni Achievement Award from the College of Arts and Sciences. The award honors exceptional graduates who exemplify the university’s core values and continue to make meaningful contributions to their professions and communities.

Curry, founder of InkyBrittany, has spent more than a decade translating complex ideas into clear, visual stories for organizations across the public and private sectors. Her work as a graphic recorder and facilitator combines art, listening, and community dialogue — a craft she traces back to her studies in the Department of Rhetoric at Georgia College.

“People often assume I have a degree in art,” Curry said. “But the truth is, my work is rooted in what I learned at Georgia College — in rhetoric, interdisciplinary thinking, and civic engagement. Those lessons shaped everything I do today.”

Through InkyBrittany, Curry has collaborated with corporations, nonprofits, government agencies, schools, and cultural organizations, helping groups see their ideas, goals, and values come to life in real time.

She will be recognized during the Georgia College Alumni Awards Ceremony on Friday, February 21, 2025, as part of the university’s Homecoming & Alumni Weekend in Milledgeville, Georgia.
