(SAVANNAH, GA) The Savannah Mall is pleased to announce its newest addition, Safari Playhouse and Mini Golf, will open to the community on November 1. Safari Playhouse will house 15,000 square feet of safari-themed activities.
Safari Playhouse houses over 13,000 square feet of soft play area, an 18-hole safari-themed miniature golf course, full arcade, and snack bar. The soft play area is geared toward children age 3-8 and will feature slides, climbing play structures, and ball pits.
“I like Savannah Mall’s emphasis on family entertainment and I think Savannah could use a bit more of that,” says co-owner of Safari Playhouse and Mini Golf, Mark Carpenter. “The whole place is wilderness themed; kids will feel like they are playing in the jungle.”
Carpenter, currently runs Sk8 City, a skating rink in Pooler. He also owned and operated Savannah Skate Inn for 15 years, and began his time with Savannah Skate Inn at age 13.

The Savannah Mall has a number of attractions for children, among them a double-decker carousel in the Food Court and soft play area on the lower level.
