Meryl Truett has moved to Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty as a sales associate.

Truett has extensive experience renovating historic properties and selling them. She has bought, remodeled and sold 12 houses in the last 17 years. Her area of interest is historic and established neighborhoods including Savannah’s Landmark Historic District, Ardsley Park, Gordonston, Hilton Head and Beaufort County, S.C.

“I would be pleased to apply my more than 17 years experience as a restorer and renovator of historic properties and real estate investor to assist you in finding your downtown Italianate Pied a Terre, Georgian Four- Square or original Tybee cottage,” Truett said.

Truett is a fine art and editorial photographer whose work is collected and exhibited nationwide. She has received numerous awards including an Individual Artist Fellowship from the Tennessee Arts Commission. Her clients include Polygram Records, Sony Music, and the Ingram Group. Her works are represented in the private collections of Roseanne Cash, Chet Atkins, Ashley Judd, Vanderbilt University and BellSouth Corporation. She has also been a university instructor and was the Executive Director of Film/Video Festival at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

She is a member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Savannah College of Art and Design Alumni Association. She has an MFA from SCAD, as well as a Master of Media Arts in Photography and Film, a Master of Education and a B.A. in English Literature from the University of South Carolina.
