Savannah Movie Tours, Inc. Launches Popular Martini Tour
Martini aficionados have reason to raise their glasses. Savannah Movie Tours, Inc. has launched the Martini Tour, a walking tour that takes patrons to four downtown Savannah establishments to sample some of the finest martinis in town.
During the tour, participants visit four secret locations in downtown Savannah, among them some of the city’s most popular restaurants and bars. The locations are revealed to participants as they walk through the streets of downtown Savannah. Along the way, they learn about the city’s rich history, the history of the martini and tidbits about Savannah’s Hollywood connection. Once the guests arrive at the secret destinations, they are served specialty martinis. Some of the tantalizing concoctions that have been served on past tours include chocolate, white elephant, mango and French martinis.

The tour, which began March 1, has already attracted the attention of locals and tourists alike. It has become especially popular for groups planning activities such as bachelorette parties, girls’ night out and guys’ night out.
The Martini Tour departs daily from Lulu’s Chocolate Bar, 42 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The first tour leaves at 6 p.m., with additional tours departing later in the evening. The tour lasts approximately two hours.
