Savannah, GA/Asheville, NC – July 2025 — Shamrock+ is proud to announce that twelve team members across its Savannah headquarters and North Carolina disaster relief division have officially earned their FAA 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification, marking a major step in expanding the company’s licensed drone operations across the Southeast.
The newly certified remote pilots include Savannah-based team members Maggie Royal, Larry Moore, and Victoria Paterno, as well as nine members of the North Carolina field operations team: Jack Herrington, Kaitlynn Graham, Regina Curtin, Charles Johnson, Alexis Leggett, Spencer Church, Drew Waters, Andy Garcia, and Ben Avivi.
The FAA Part 107 certification is required for commercial drone operation and ensures pilots are trained in national airspace rules, weather, safety procedures, and mission planning. It is a foundational credential for professionals using unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in fields such as architecture, construction, and emergency management.
