Enmarket and Healthy Savannah Accepting Applications for 2016 Encourage Health Series’ Speakers

(SAVANNAH, GA) Enmarket is now accepting speaking nominations for the 2016 Encourage Health Educational Series. This marks the third year for the health-focused series, which features speakers on nutrition, fitness and tips for living a healthy life.

Program topics have covered a wide range of subject matter over the past two years from some of the area’s most respected experts in the health field. Popular themes have included training tips for running a 5K, strategies for time management, treatment of childhood obesity, healthy eating for life and many more.

Anyone who has an interesting program idea should submit the below information to Paula Kreissler at paula@healthysavannah.org. The deadline to submit an application is Sunday, December 19. Each presentation will last 20 minutes.

Applications should include the presenter’s name, title, company and contact information, along with the proposed topic and a short description of what the audience will learn. Please attach a bio to email as well. All submissions will be reviewed by the Encourage Health advisory board.

The selected speakers will be announced in February.

The 2016 lunch and learn series kicks off on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in the Savannah Morning News auditorium from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The other lectures will be held on the following Tuesdays: June 21, August 30 and October 25.
