  (AUGUSTA, GA) The Morris Museum’s Art at Lunch series is featuring this week Arthur
  J. Phelan, whose collection is featured in the exhibition Window on
  the West. Friday, May 18 at noon. And on Sunday May 20th at 2:00 pm,
  Music at the Morris presents Fiddler Megan B. Lynch, who frequently
  tours with country music legends Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan. Lynch
  will be performing with special guest Adam Chowning, the Flat Pick

(AUGUSTA, GA) Laney Walker/Bethlehem will be showcased this summer in Washington, DC at the national Neighborhood Revitalization Conference. Chester
  Wheeler, Director of Augusta’s Housing Department, and Jesse Wiles,
  President of APD Urban Planning & Management, which serves as the
  project manager for Laney Walker/Bethlehem, will both be featured in a
  presentation on regenerating the American city.

  (AUGUSTA, GA) The Augusta Richmond County Public Library is closing off 9th Street
  between Greene and Telfair Streets for a summer reading kickoff block
  party featuring live music, food, and games. Saturday, May 19th from
  noon until 3 pm.

  (AUGUSTA, GA)The Georgia Health Sciences Cancer Center has been granted three-year
  accreditation with commendation by the American College of Surgeons
  Commission on Cancer. Accreditation followed an on-site evaluation.
  Medical care and continued development of the Georgia Health Sciences
  Center are cornerstones in Augusta’s economic development. To
