(SAVANNAH, GA) Seimitsu announces workshop on FTC Safeguard Rule, What Small Businesses Need to Know. Financial institutions have a new Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Safeguard Rule. The FTC has broadened the definition of a ‘financial institution’ to include businesses from auto dealers to real estate appraisers and more. The details of the new law require those businesses to have a designated security officer. For details attend the workshop.
