(SAVANNAH, GA) Tony Thomas, Alderman of District 6 and Chairman of City Council in Savannah, will open up the STUFF STORE in the Savannah Mall on Saturday, July 19. The store will feature antiques, collectibles and eclectic pieces.
“I wanted to offer Savannah a store that sold a variety of items, things ranging from Lenox china to unique one-of-a-kind products,” said Thomas when asked why he decided to open the STUFF STORE.
A sister branch of the STUFF STORE opened three months ago on Whitebluff Ave. The Savannah Mall location will be opened from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday. Thomas is currently serving his 4th term and has served as the Council Chairman since 2004. Enthusiastically involved in Savannah’s community, Thomas serves on the Boards of the United Way, Southside YMCA Board, and the EOA Volunteers & Retirees Advisory Board. He also serves as the council liaison for the Savannah Development and Renewal Authority, the Trade Center Authority and the Savannah Convention and Visitors Bureau.
