Angela Canfield, DDS Announces Grand Opening of Second Dental Location, Sandfly Family Dental, to be Held November 14

(SAVANNAH, GA) Dr. Angela Canfield announces the grand opening ceremony of Sandfly Family Dental on Friday, November 14, her second dental office location at Norwood Market in Savannah, Ga. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place in front of the new office at 10 a.m. with the ribbon being made out of faux-floss. Sandfly Family Dental associates specialize in comprehensive general and preventative dentistry, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and orthodontic treatments.

In conjunction with the grand opening, Dr. Canfield will be donating 10% of new patient procedures during the first week to the Savannah Children’s Theatre. This donation will go towards materials for building scenery, fabric for costumes, props, paint, makeup, lighting and sound equipment. The mission of The Savannah Children’s Theatre is to inspire, educate and entertain children and families through the experience of quality theatre both on and off the stage.

Dr. Canfield will also be hosting a school-supply drive for the Isle of Hope Elementary and Middle School. The school needs supplies such as over-the-ear-headphones, lanyards for IDs, tote bags, hard back book sets, laptops and school supplies, including: paper, folders/binders, writing utensils, rulers, tape, stapler/staples, calculators, craft supplies, and other materials such as magnets and stickers. Dr. Canfield will be accepting donations for the entire month.

“As I conduct business in Savannah, I want to be socially conscious and give back where and when I can,” said Dr. Canfield, “Collecting supplies for a school right down the road from my new office seemed like a great way to integrate myself in the community. And of course, the Savannah Children’s Theatre seemed like a logical nonprofit to donate to since healthy actors and actresses need healthy teeth.”

Dr. Canfield’s first dental office, Premier Dental Designs in Rincon, Ga. celebrated nine years in business this year. She graduated from West Virginia University School for Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Her practice has been licensed by the Georgia Board of Dentistry and the National Board of Dentistry. Dr. Canfield is currently working on another board certification for Forensic Dentistry.
