(SAVANNAH, GA) Savannah Mall is pleased to welcome performers from the Sankofa Center for the Arts on Saturday, December 19 at 3 p.m. The one time holiday performance, Let There Be Peace on Earth, is free and open to the public.
“We are thrilled to offer this gift to the community during this hectic time of year,” said Savannah Mall General Manager Phil McConnell. “These talented performers will offer a holiday wish for harmony through dance and music to our mall customers.”
The performance takes place at Savannah Mall’s upper level in Dillard’s Court. At the event, donations may be made with proceeds benefitting Toys for Tots and the Sankofa Center Wish List.
Since June 2013, Sankofa Center for the Arts has been offering the Savannah area a wide variety of dance and movement classes taught by professional and experienced dancers for every age group and level. They include African, Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Liturgical, Zumba, Yoga, and Seniors’ Fitness.
