(SAVANNAH, GA)– Savannah/Hilton Head International reports 202,003 passengers used the Airport in the month of February, an 8% increase over the same month last year. Total passengers for 2016 are 648,197 an increase of 9% over the same period one year ago. The number of available seats reported for April shows an increase of 14% over the same period in 2015.
Market share for airlines serving Savannah/Hilton Head International in April was as follows: Delta Air Lines 44%, American 24%, JetBlue 12%, United Airlines 15%, Allegiant 4% and Sun Country 1%.
Savannah/Hilton Head International currently offers 45 daily non-stop departures and several additional weekly nonstop flights and destinations are offered seasonally. On June 2, Allegiant Air will further add to the nonstop schedule with new seasonal service between Lexington, Kentucky and Savannah/Hilton Head International.
