Amy Krissman Pine is a freelance writer and editor with more than 11 years of experience. Her freelance clients have included the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah Country Day School and Just Jazz Guitar magazine. Prior to launching a freelance career, she was senior publications editor at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she served as editor of the college’s alumni magazine and oversaw the publication of numerous catalogs, booklets and brochures. During her tenure, she received a Silver ADDY Award at the American Advertising Federation’s 2001 Seventh District ADDY Awards for work on the college’s 2001 fashion show campaign, “Drawn to Fashion”

Pine began her career as a multimedia writer and producer for NBC10-MSNBC in Philadelphia, then served as a writer and communications specialist at Savannah State University. She received a B.A. in English and communications from the University of Pennsylvania. Pine lives in Savannah with her husband and two young children.
