Existing washers and dryers are being replaced with new Speed Queen heavy-duty, high-efficiency commercial machines, which will enable residents to wash their items more quickly and gently.
The state-of-the-art WaveRider Laundry System being installed at apartmentsavannah’s communities in Savannah and Garden City will give residents the option of using Visa and MasterCard credit cards. For added convenience, residents can even log on to the laundry room’s website to confirm machine availability, check back for updates on how much time is left to complete the cycle and sign up to receive a text message once their cycle is complete.
The Diamond Center III, another high-tech coinless laundry system, was recently installed in the company’s Charleston, S.C., community, The Palms.
All washers and dryers will continue to take coins, giving residents the flexibility of choosing which method of payment is best for them.
