On hand will be Augusta Housing Department director, Chester Wheeler, whose department is spearheading the revitalization effort, along with other members of his development team. The plan for this corridor is part of the overarching Augusta Sustainable Development Agenda and is being funded by a national Tiger II/Sustainable Cities grant from HUD, DOT, and EPA.
