(AUGUSTA, GA) New Bethlehem Community Center will provide free lunches to all
children ages 7-18 through the Summer Food Service Program. This is
one way to ensure that no child in our community goes without a meal
during the summer. The program will begin Monday, June 4, 2012 and end
Friday, July 13, 2012 and meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. until
12:30 p.m. each day.

(AUGUSTA, GA) 30901 Development Corporation has begun the construction of a new
single family home at 1433 Wrightsboro Road, located at the corner of
Wrightsboro Road and Holley Street.

Georgia Health Sciences University (GHSU) and Health System pumped
nearly $2 billion into the local economy, and area hospitals together
generated nearly $2.6 billion for the local economy in 2010.
Healthcare is a crucial part of the Augusta region generating not only
jobs and services, but funds that are used by the local economy to

at the national Neighborhood Revitalization Conference. Chester
Wheeler, Director of Augusta’s Housing Department, and Jesse Wiles,
President of APD Urban Planning & Management, which serves as the
project manager for Laney Walker/Bethlehem, will both be featured in a
presentation on regenerating the American city.
