(SAVANNAH, GA) In a unanimous decision by the Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) Search Committee along with the other Commissioners, Melanie Wilson, has been named the sole finalist for the position of MPC Executive Director. Wilson currently serves as the Director of Planning and Development for Augusta, Georgia. She has over 30 years of experience in environmental, land use and strategic planning. Her work has involved mediating conflicting relationships among these entities and building capacity where none existed. SENATE BILL THREATENS GA FILM BUSINESS
