Carriage Trade Public Relations® Inc. and Cecilia Russo Marketing Hire Elizabeth Poole as Director of Communications
(SAVANNAH, GA) Elizabeth Poole, a recent graduate of the University of Georgia, has been named as the new director of communications for collaborative companies Carriage Trade Public Relations®, Inc. and Cecilia Russo Marketing, LLC.
Poole, a Savannah native, has an undergraduate degree in public relations from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications and earned a master of arts in public relations and advertising. She also earned a minor in fashion merchandising as well as a certificate in new media.
“We are thrilled Liz has joined our growing team,” said President, Cecilia Russo Turner. “Liz’s communications experience coupled with her passion and energy enhance our firms’ skill set and client offerings. We’re looking forward to her contributions for both new and existing accounts.”
Poole previously was an intern with Felicities PR of London and Liz Lapidus PR in Atlanta. At UGA, she served on the event planning committee for the Drewry chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America and was the 2016 Host and Decor chair for the largest student-run networking event at UGA, AdPR Connection.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to join this powerful group of women who have really become my mentors over the past 16 months,” Poole said. “I’m confident that I can bring a unique perspective along with new ideas to the table. It’s going to be an exciting first year.”
Poole said she will invest her spare time in Community Bible Church of Savannah and local animal shelters.
