(SAVANNAH, GA) Center Parc Credit Union (CPCU) has named Emily Hopper as the in-store manager for its new Savannah area branches set to open in September. The financial institution has also hired Mary Thomas and Yalanda Henderson as assistant managers.
“With more than eight years of banking experience, Emily comes to us having previously served as a teller, loan representative, assistant manager and a branch manager,” said Chuck Head, president/CEO of Center Parc Credit Union. “She understands how each position is critical to the success of the team as a whole.”
Hopper has also taught leadership programs and served in customer service positions over the past 15 years. She is currently working towards obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business management.
“Center Parc Credit Union shares my own personal values of service, kindness, and care for the community,” Hopper said. “Everyone is encouraged to grow and use their talents to better themselves and the organization. Hopper will manage CPCU’s Savannah area branches while Thomas will oversee the daily operations of the company’s Savannah Walmart branch at 6000 Ogeechee Road and Henderson will serve as the assistant manager of the Pooler Walmart branch.
A native of Washington, D.C., Thomas has 13 years of financial leadership and has served in similar positions with previous employers.
“One of my specialties is to treat people the way that I would want to be treated at all times, no matter what the circumstances are,” said Thomas. “I would also say my specialty is consistency, which aligns with Center Parc’s mission statement of helping members achieve financial success by providing exceptional products and services.”
Henderson, who is a native of Jonesboro, Ga., holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from South University. She is also a registered professional in her profession with over 10 years of experience in retail banking.
“My goals are to deliver outstanding service to both internal and external members that is in alignment with the credit union’s promise,” Henderson said. “I also plan to bring my enthusiasm for the profession and my personal qualities, such as my drive for member service and willingness to learn and uphold the credit union’s values.”
