GEORGIA STORYTELLING ROADSHOW

(WJCL) A free outdoor film and pop-up theater event set up shop in Savannah Friday night. Treasure Maps: The Georgia Storytelling Roadshow was held at Old Roberds Dairy Farm and featured a screening of Treasure Maps, a film collage of experiences with an up close and personal look into what it’s like navigating the complex web of life as a person with a developmental disability. One of the ten Georgians featured in the film was Michael Holton of Guyton. Local partners for the 2021 Treasure Maps stop in Savannah included the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society and Savannah-Chatham County Parent Mentors.
