(BRUNSWICK, Ga.) Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire, Inc. is pleased to present the 3rd Annual Celebrity Fashion Show, “There Is So Much More Behind Our Doors” on Thursday, March 7, 2014 at The Embassy Suites Hotel, 500 Mall Boulevard, Brunswick, Georgia.
Community leaders from Glynn, McIntosh, Wayne and Camden County will showcase clothes and accessories from the Goodwill Stores in a manner never witnessed before in the Golden Isles. There will also be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle to raise funds for the Brunswick Job Connection Career Center and programs that serve the Brunswick community.
Join celebrities like Mayor Cornell Harvey of The City of Brunswick, Gary Colberg of Southeast Georgia Health Systems, Connie Patrick, a community leader, Cedric King of PINOVA, Annie Clara Polite Community Leader, Rick Townsend of the Golden Isles Career Academy, Alexis Mitchell of Frederica Academy, Richard Baker of Glynn Academy High School, James “Boot” Thomas of Wayne County Commission, Jedon Lilliston of Lilliston Ford and the list goes on stroll the run way at The Embassy Suites Hotel, 500 Mall Boulevard, Brunswick.
Last year’s inaugural event was held at the Embassy Suites Hotel for a night of fun, food and entertainment to bring awareness to the mission of Goodwill, “Putting People to Work.”
The Brunswick Job Connection Career Center provides premier education, training, and career services to those who wish to engage in an opportunity that leads to positive outcomes. All funds raised from this event support individuals with barriers to employment with assistance in sponsoring driver’s license, TWIC cards, public transportation vouchers and ticket to work essentials.
