(HARDEEVILLE, SC) Local interior designer Linn Gresham, IIDA, ASID, of Reve Surfaces has been awarded the 2010 International Interior Design Association of Georgia Best of the Best Award of Merit for Retail Design for her design of the Reve Surfaces Showroom located within the Savannah Hardscapes’ facility near Bluffton, South Carolina.
The statewide competition included submissions from design firms across Georgia, including many larger firms that submitted entries for projects done throughout the United States. Among the prestigious firms to share the award with Gresham was TVS & Associates, an Atlanta-based architectural and interior design firm whose multi-member design team won for its work on the Herman Miller Showroom in Los Angeles.
“To be recognized for interior design excellence amongst the state of Georgia’s top interior designers is a speechlessly divine honor for me,” says Gresham, who works as an interior designer at Reve Surfaces in addition to having her own interior décor business and serving as a professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design. “Our project was done with a one-person design team on a limited budget with all new branding and business model concepts. It was a feat to design, build and open the Reve Surfaces showroom within a year, and it feels great to be recognized alongside such a prestigious project and firm as TVS.”
The IIDA Georgia B.O.B. award recognizes Gresham’s masterful design work in collaboration with the vision and business concept created by Jonathan and William Rhangos, owners of Savannah Hardscapes | Reve Surfaces, as well as branding by Tytan Advertising Group, which developed the brand concept for Reve Surfaces.
The Reve Surfaces Showroom is the interior and exterior surfacing division of Savannah Hardscapes. The Reve Surfaces design staff specializes in kitchens, baths, pools and outdoor kitchens, and the showroom features fine finish materials including tile, stone slabs, antique mirror glass, stone mantles, specialty plumbing fixtures and other special interior finishes.
