SAVANNAH, Ga. – FRIDAY, NOV. 10, 2023 – During Thursday’s 68th Annual Meeting in Columbia Square, Historic Savannah Foundation proudly welcomed new Board of Trustees members Ryan Claus and Brian Dart.
Ryan Claus is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) where he earned his Master of Architecture. He joined Felder & Associates in 2012 when the firm was founded and took on the role of Project Manager and Designer. He is responsible for client relations, project development, and construction administration on a wide range of projects. Claus also excels at computer-aided 3D visualization and is well-versed in the latest BIM and CAD technologies. His work has received various local design awards such as the AIA Bronze Medal with the Savannah Young Architects Forum (SYAF) team in 2013.
Claus has served on the AIA SYAF as chair and vice chair of the group and was previously a member of the local USGBC Emerging Professionals committee. Claus has also served as a deacon in his church, The Kirk (PCA), for over ten years.
Originally from Pooler, he is married to Brittani Claus, and together they have two children.
Statesboro native and Georgia Southern University graduate Brian Dart joins Ryan as a new Board of Trustees member. He is the Group Vice President, Market Manager at Queensborough National Bank’s coastal market. In addition to commercial lending, Dart oversees the bank’s branches in Statesboro and Pooler, as well as the Hodgson Memorial Drive branch in Savannah.
He has been with Queensborough for over 5 years in the Savannah market, and in banking since 2005. Prior to banking he worked in the office of Congressman Jack Kingston of the U.S. House of Representatives as an Office Manager and District Aide.
He is active in the community and serves on multiple boards including President of the Georgia Southern University- Southern Greek Housing Corporation, President of the Kappa Sigma Alumni Association, Former President of Chatham County Little League, Coastal Georgia Boy Scouts Troop 56, and is a member of the Propeller Club – Port of Savannah, Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, The Savannah Quarterback Club, L’Alliance Francaise de Savannah, German Heritage Society, and the Guale Myers Society.
Dart and his wife Nancy live in Savannah with their three children.

Claus and Dart will serve on the HSF Board of Trustees alongside Chairman Austin Hill, Vice Chairman Cody Tharpe, Treasurer Michael McLeod, Secretary Gaye Reese and Parliamentarian Gregori S. Anderson, and additional HSF board members Sam Carroll, Sabrina Cox, Louisa Morris and Brent Watts.
