Hosted by Peacock Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat
(JASPER COUNTY, S.C.) The Boys & Girls Club of Jasper County raised $22,000 at its largest annual fundraising event, the Hunt, Fish & Shoot Party, which was held at Peacock Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat at 265 Drivers Way in Hardeeville.
Local businesses, corporations and individuals donated prizes, and all raffle ticket purchases supported the club’s programs and services.
“We are so grateful of the Jasper and Beaufort County communities for supporting programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Jasper County,” said Chris Protz, executive director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry.
Peacock Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat and Derry Plantation were the presenting sponsors for the event, which was free to attend. Raffle items included hunting trips, fishing charters, guns, kayaks, dinners, date nights for men and women and other items.
The Boys & Girls Club of Jasper County has five core program areas — arts, character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills and sports, fitness and recreation. The programs are designed to empower youth to excel in school, become good citizens and lead healthy, productive lives.
“Our sponsors and raffle item donors are the intricate piece to this successful puzzle,” said DeLauren White, director of program development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry. “I love seeing our community come together to support the futures of our Lowcountry youth.”
