I was born in Morgantown, WV and lived most of my childhood in Cincinnati, OH. I grew up one of eight children and I graduated from Oak Hills High School in Cincinnati, OH. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati-Raymond Walters College with an Associates Degree in Radiological Science. I was a Radiologic Technologist at Cincinnati General Hospital from 1978-1986. In 1986 I moved to Richmond, VA and worked as a Radiologic Technologist at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital. In 1987 I moved to Savannah, GA and worked as a Radiologic Technologist at Memorial Medical Center until 1990. I have maintained my Radiologic Technologist Registry to present. In May of 2007 I formed my own Photography Business, KIM-imaging, LLC. I do freelance photography work for Universities, Banks, Businesses and Individuals throughout the Savannah Community. I perform many photographic projects for Carriage Trade PR and enjoy my many new experiences this business has allowed me to pursue.
I live in Savannah, GA with my husband of 22 years, Norman B. Thomson, III and my daughter, Alexandra Elizabeth Thomson and my son, Bryant Nichols Thomson. We enjoy many outdoor activities together as well as our two wonderful yellow labs, Cider and Tide. We love traveling together and of course photographing our experiences together.
