Private School in Savannah Recognized as One of Nation’s Most Challenging High Schools

(SAVANNAH, GA) St. Andrew’s School recently received recognition as one of the most challenging high schools in the nation.  This marks the third year in a row for the Savannah private school to receive the honor.  From the over 2,000 public and private schools ranked, St. Andrew’s placed 18th overall and received the highest ranking of any private school nationwide.  The Washington Post’s Jay Mathews has been ranking the most challenging schools in the country for over 15 years.

“I’m thrilled that St. Andrew’s is again being recognized for one of our distinguishing characteristics–that we provide a challenging curriculum to all of our students while giving them the individual attention and supportive environment they need to help them meet that challenge,” said Sara Rubinstein, Upper School Head.  “The honor speaks to our providing a meaningful and rigorous college prep curriculum to 100% of our students through our open access International Baccalaureate Program.”
