(SAVANNAH, GA) – Mohsen Badran, CEO of Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire, Inc., will be talking about ‘10 Things Folks don’t know about Goodwill’ Nov. 16 to the Exchange Club.
Badran is responsible for providing executive management and direction, overseeing the organization’s growth, ensuring the effective management of Goodwill’s many regional business activities, and establishing the vision for the future of the organization.
Badran previously worked with Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New
Jersey, Inc., where he served as Senior Vice President. In his 22-year career with Goodwill
Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey, Badran developed and implemented comprehensive business plans to position the organization into new lines of business; provided an ongoing analysis of market trends; orchestrated Goodwill’s collaboration with well-known business leaders; established and grew successful strategic alliances with numerous for-profit and not-for-profit partners; and was responsible for the management and performance of human capital.
Badran has recently served on the boards of directors of the Long Island City Business
Development Corporation, Global Liberty Insurance Company of New York, the New York
State Industries for the Disabled and the Queens Economic Development Corporation.
In addition, he has served on the Queens Borough President’s Task Force on Work Force
Development, the Business and Industry Committee of the Queens Chamber of Commerce, the E-Waste Task Force at Goodwill Industries International and the Business Advisory Council of the Queens District Attorney.
Badran received an Executive Development Certificate from Goodwill Industries International in Rockland, Maryland. In addition, he earned a bachelor of arts degree in science and agricultural engineering and a master’s degree in science from the University of Alexandria in Egypt.
