The Savannah chapter of insurance agents, Coastal Empire Association of Health Underwriters, will host a social with Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John W. Oxendine as the guest of honor, May 14th at the Hilton Garden Inn from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
The event will include a cash bar and appetizers, sponsored by Coventry Health Care of Georgia. The event will be Thursday, May 14th at the Hilton Garden Inn, Midtown, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Oxendine has won three consecutive elections and is now serving in his fourth term of office. Oxendine has gained the reputation as a strong advocate for Georgia consumers while maintaining a vigorous competitive environment for Georgia based insurance companies.
During his tenure as Commissioner, Oxendine has championed policies aimed at protecting the interest of Georgia consumers and promoting a competitive market place. He successfully fought for legislative proposals to increase the portability of health insurance policies and to ensure more affordable choices of health insurance products.
