(SAVANNAH, GA) The local chapter of the Red Knights International Firefighters Motorcycle Club announces that their annual Poker Run will be held Sunday, April 24 and will benefit the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society (LDSS).  Registration for the 2.5 hour motorcycle run will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Southern Biker Gear in Richmond Hill.  Proceeds collected from the event will directly support LDSS. SWIM SPREE

(SAVANNAH, GA) Friends Introducing Swimming and Healthy Habits (FISHH) in collaboration with the Georgia Coastal Aquatic Team (GCAT) and the Savannah Swim Team (SST) will be holding a “Swim Spree” donation drive on Tuesday, April 12 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Chatham County Aquatic Center, located 7240 Sallie Mood Road. This is the fourth year FISHH has held the “Swim Spree” in support of Horizons Savannah’s summer swimming program. In addition to monetary donations, new or gently used goggles, swim suits, towels and training equipment will be accepted at the Aquatic Center on or before April 12. (SAVANNAH, GA) Lead Actor, David DeSanctis will be present for a special screening of “Where Hope Grows” on Wednesday, May 11 at 7 p.m. at the Savannah Arts Academy located at 500 Washington Ave, Savannah, Ga.
