“A WORLD APART” WORLD WAR II MEMORIAL HONORED BY JEWISH WAR VETERANS
(SAVANNAH, GA) Jewish War Veterans in Chatham County gathered to honor Eric Meyerhoff, a retired architect and one of the men responsible for River Street’s World War II monument and the Savannah Riverwalk. The memorial, which honors local Jewish War Veterans and is titled, “A World Apart,” represents the Pacific and European theaters of war. The project’s fundraising campaign was led by founder and president of Cecilia Russo Marketing, LLC, Cecilia Russo Turner.
