(SAVANNAH, GA)  Martin Sullivan, president and founder of The Sullivan Group, headquartered in Savannah, will be the featured speaker at the semi-monthly CEO Lecture Series co-sponsored by The Business Report & Journal and The First City Club on March 28.

He will speak about the "Five Lessons Learned on the Way to $100 Million in Sales."

Sullivan founded the company in 1991.  Through its numerous divisions, the company offers an array of services in the human resources area, including human resources outsourcing, a new concept for many employers through its Sullivan's Administrative Managers divisions.  The company also has a staffing and recruiting division under the brand name Sullivan Staffing.  That division operates an internet job board at www.savannahjobs.com.  The diverse company also sells commercial and personal insurance through its Sapelo Creative Insurance subsidiary.

Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors with The Sullivan Group, Martin spent 20 years in a variety of capacities in the logistics and import/export industries, and was also the owner of a Norrell Temporary Services franchise based in Charleston.

As a Veteran of the United States Army, he spent much of his military career in Germany and Viet Nam.  Martin went on to receive his education in marketing management at Georgetown University and Armstrong State College.

Over the past year, Martin has taken a particularly active civic leadership role as founder of "Save Our Savannah," bringing together a number of community groups and concerned citizens to encourage a focus on efforts to fight crime and enhance crime prevention.  He is also a member of the Downtown Rotary Club, Savannah Business Group and Chamber of Commerce.
