Stage Front Presentation Systems is proud to announce a new scholarship endowment in the name of Steven Shoob, a former producer/reporter/managing editor at WTOC-TV. Shoob was struck by a car and killed in mid-July just after he had filmed an accident scene on I-95. The Steven Shoob Memorial Scholarship, available to Mass Communication majors at Savannah State University, will provide one student with $500 annually for five years. Scholarship applicants must be a full time student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Steve Stephens, Stage Front’s President, says this scholarship is a way to help a student to learn about one of Steven Shoob’s greatest loves.

"Ask anyone at WTOC, and they’ll tell you that Steven was extremely passionate about his work. He was a consummate professional who raised the bar for news production in the Coastal Empire. Although he was quite the humble guy, I think he would be so happy to know that a student could benefit from the job he loved so much," Stephens says.

Steven Shoob was a friend of Stage Front. His brother, Cary Shoob, works at Stage Front as a Systems Consultant.

Stage Front continues to grow with new offices in Atlanta and Charleston. From inception, into design and installation and throughout the life of the audio/video/teleconferencing/presentation/ lighting systems, Stage Front is committed to its customers and community.
